Adding Template Version

WhatsApp allows you to send templates in different languages. Every template first has to be made in English, and then a version of it can be added in any other language. This helps businesses in running localized campaigns by connecting with their audience in their native language. 

A different language version of the English template can be added by clicking on the -Add version in another language- option. A template that has to be sent in another language needs to be drafted in English as well. WhatsApp does not do any translation for you, you need to enter the translated content by yourself.

WhatsApp does not support editing or deleting individual translations within a template. If you need to resubmit a translation, you must submit it as another new template. If a template in any language gets rejected, all the other language templates submitted with it also get rejected. So all the templated needs to be clear in its content translation.
